Chegaram as primeiras imagens da minha nova casa! Infelizmente
o dia em que resolvi sair para fotografar esta cidade linda, abri a porta e deparei-me
com um céu cinzento, chuva e vento. Voltei a fechar a porta, fui buscar o meu
amigo chapéu-de-chuva (que a propósito é bastante resistente e custou SÓ £3) e
voltei a sair, porque hoje tinha de haver fotos. Casaco vestido, mochila às
costas, chapéu aberto, fones nos ouvidos, máquina na mão e lá vou eu. O
resultado ficou melhor do que esperava e agora considero-me uma fotógrafa exímia
(apesar do uso do modo automático, muitas desculpas ao professor de fotografia).

The new pictures of my new home town have arrived! Unfortunately, when I decided to go out to take some pics of this beautiful city, I opened the door and guess what? Clouds, rain and wind (it looks like winter). I closed the door immediately, went to grab my great friend called umbrella (which is very strong and it was only £3) and went back outside again, because today you deserved some pics.
Back outside, my coat was on, bag on my back, umbrella opened, headphones in, camera on my hands and here I go. The result became better than what I was expecting, and now I’m feeling like a professional photographer (although I used the automatic mode, sorry to my Photography teacher).

Albert Dock é um dos pontos mais turísticos de Liverpool, e
comigo foi amor à primeira vista. Tem uma roda gigante (vá, não tão gigante
quanto o London Eye), onde ainda não tive oportunidade de andar, mas certamente
não faltará muito tempo.

Albert Dock is one of the most turistic spots in Liverpool, and to me it was love at first sight. It has a giant wheel (well, not as big as the London Eye), which I didn’t had the opportunity to visit yet, but certainly I will very soon.
Podem visitar o Merseyside Maritime Museum onde podem ver a
exposição “Titanic e Liverpool: A história não contada” (que a propósito é
gratuito), bem como o Museu de Liverpool e o Museu Internacional da Escravatura entre outros.

Se gostam de correr, ou caminhar, este é o melhor sítio para
o fazerem pois podem apreciar a vista maravilhosa. Para quem preferir pode ainda
alugar uma bicicleta e pedalar docas fora até o tempo (do aluguer) acabar.

Se, como eu, adoras aquela ideia dos cadeados na Pont des
Arts em Paris, pois bem, podes fazer o mesmo aqui! Existem cadeados espalhados
pelas longas correntes que separam a terra do rio, se cá vieres já sabes,
prende-te às docas!
As docas ficam ainda perto de 2 hóteis (um deles o Hilton) e
do Liverpool One (centro comercial gigante que também vos vou mostrar) e
paragem da maioria dos autocarros da cidade.

If you love the idea of the padlocks on the Pont des Art, in Paris, such as I do, you can also do it here! There are lots of padlocks spread on the chains close to the river, so if you come to Liverpool you can literally lock yourself to the dock.
Albert Dock stays close to many restaurants, pubs, 2 hotels (one is Hilton), Liverpool One (giant mall that I will show you soon) and stops of many buses.
